The Academic Resource Center
The Academic Resource Center provides students with academic strategies and individualized support needed for academic success and inclusion within the Georgetown Community. The Center offers disability support, student-athlete support, and academic support through counseling, consultations, workshops, and tutoring services.
The ARC is located in Leavey Center 333, and services offered by the ARC can be found by calling (202)-687-8354 or by emailing arc@georgetown.edu.
CENTER FOR MULTICULTURAL EQUITY & ACCESS
The CMEA enhances the education and experience of students historically denied access to Georgetown University because of their race or ethnicity. The CMEA provides mentoring, multicultural programming, diversity education, and academic support in the effort of creating a community committed to inclusive education.
CMEA is located on the 5th floor of the Leavey Center and can be reached by calling (202)-687-4054.
THE CENTER FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE
The CSJ’s mission is to advance justice and the common good through integrating community-based research, teaching, and service by collaborating with diverse partners and communities. The CSJ works to build support for community-based involvement and research through social action-centered projects. Beyond their 35 student organizations, the CSJ often hosts events and workshops on issues pertaining to social justice and current social issues.

COUNSELING AND PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES
CAPS provides a broad range of confidential psychological and psychiatric services to students including free consultations, referrals, and group therapy sessions. Ongoing counseling and psychotherapy as well as medication follow-up sessions can require a fee.
Located on the first floor of Darnall Hall, appointments can be made by walking in during business hours or by calling (202)-687-6985 and asking to speak with the Intake Coordinator. For emergency after-hours consults, call (202)-444-7243 and ask for the on call CAPS clinician.
GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY POLICE DEPARTMENT
Georgetown University Police Department’s mission is to protect the Georgetown University community, ensuring a safe and secure learning and living environment through trusting partnerships and professional police services. Some of the services they provide include: Bias Reporting, Crime Reporting, Saferides and Shuttles, Laptop and Equipment Registration, and Bicycle Registration.
Victims or witnesses of a crime should contact the Georgetown University Police Department as soon as they are aware that a crime has been or is being committed. A crime or suspicious activity may be reported in person at the GUPD station on the ground level Village C (West Wing) or by calling the GUPD office at 202-687-4343.
HEALTH EDUCATION SERVICES
HES offers consultations, assessments, treatments, and referrals for students experiencing problems regarding substance abuse, eating disorders, sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, pregnancy, and overall health. Services are free, and no referral is needed in order to seek services from Health Ed.
Located at the corner of 37th and P Streets in Poulton Hall Suite 101, appointments can be made by calling a staff member directly or by calling the main HES number at (202)-687-8948.

LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER, AND QUESTIONING (LGBTQ) STUDENT RESOURCE CENTER
The LGBTQ Center is the first Center of its kind at a Catholic/Jesuit institution. The Center provides students, faculty, and staff with education, programming, support services, and advocacy on campus regardless of their sexual orientation and gender identity. There are celebrations, activities, speakers, presentations, and events open to the Georgetown student body. The Center itself is also a welcoming place for all students to come and speak with the Center’s staff and with other students.

OFFICE OF CAMPUS MINISTRY
The Office of Campus Ministry provides students with a sense of deeper meaning, purpose, and belonging through Georgetown’s Catholic and Jesuit tradition and interreligious collaboration. The Office of Campus Ministry holds religious services for Roman Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Orthodox Christian, Hindu, and Buddhist faiths. The Office also supports off-campus retreats tailored for both first-year students and for upperclassmen of any faiths. Additional services/spaces provided by the Office of Campus Ministry include: John Main Center, Calcagnini Contemplative Center, Residential Ministry, and various chaplaincies and affiliated ministries.

OFFICE OF INSTITUTIONAL DIVERSITY, EQUITY & AFFIRMATIVE ACTION
The mission of the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity & Affirmative Action is to promote a deep understanding and appreciation among the diverse members of the University community to result in justice and equality in educational, employment and contracting opportunities, as well as to lead efforts to create an inclusive academic and work environment. Any member of the university community can make a report about a possible bias related incident through this website as well.
STUDENT HEALTH CENTER
The Student Health Center provides office visits, preventative health care, laboratory work, procedures, specialist referrals, and prescription refills.

STUDENT OUTREACH AND SUPPORT
SOS serves Georgetown students by providing care for students transitioning out of acute psychiatric care and back into the student body, students wishing to take a medical leave of absence, and students on campus worried about another’s health, safety or wellness.
SOS is located in Leavey Center 530 and can be reached by calling (202)-687-4056.
VETERANS OFFICE
The Veterans Office exists in order to support the opportunities of military members accessing higher education in order to ensure a campus culture that cares for the entire spectrum of military students. The Veterans Office connects military students with the resources they need to successfully transition from combat to classroom to career, including consulting on admissions, finances, academic support, career networking, and support services.

WOMEN’S CENTER
The Women’s Center offers a diverse selection of educational programs, volunteer opportunities, services, and resources to Georgetown students. The Center works closely with students, staff, and faculty in order to address the needs of Georgetown’s community and in order to create a more supportive and inclusive environment. The Center hosts many programs and events in order to support women on Georgetown’s campus and beyond.
